A decade ago, the emergence of “the Gate” bridged the chasm between the mundane world and a realm teeming with magic and monstrous creatures. In response, ordinary individuals were bestowed with extraordinary abilities and dubbed “Hunters.” Among them is Sung Jin-Woo, a twenty-year-old plagued by the moniker of the “World’s Weakest” due to his feeble prowess, barely surpassing an E-Rank. Despite his meager strength, Jin-Woo relentlessly pursues monsters in low-tier Gates to alleviate his mother’s mounting medical expenses.
However, Jin-Woo’s bleak existence takes an unexpected turn when, left for dead following a mission gone awry, he awakens in a hospital bed three days later to confront a cryptic floating screen before him. This enigmatic “Quest Log” presents Jin-Woo with an ultimatum: either undergo an arduous and seemingly unattainable training regimen or suffer dire consequences. Initially hesitant to embrace the challenge due to its daunting nature, Jin-Woo soon realizes that completing it might just propel him to the pinnacle of power, transforming him into one of the most formidable figures in the world.
